Now that I’ve used excessive caps lock, I’ll tell you what I think of it.  First of all, if you like and must have texture in your toys, walk away right now.  This is completely smooth with not even a hint of texture.  It’s also not too girthy, which combined with the lack of texture and the nice curve would make it great for someone new to penetration.

The packaging is just basic.  It comes in a foam container with a big hot pink label.  I discarded it since keeping a toy in foam seemed like a waste of space in my toy chest.  I opted for a zip-lock bag home for it instead.

I do have one complaint – the bullet vibe.  Firstly, it comes separately when you get the Oh Oui, but me being the idiot I am stuck it in all the way without any lube on it.  We all know what happens next – IT’S STUCK.  So if I never need to take it out and change the batteries I’m out of luck unless I can get someone with tiny fingers to get it out for me.  Another thing about bullet vibes is that they just aren’t strong at all.  If you’re looking for a vibrator to actually stimulate you to orgasm, look elsewhere.  This is more just a light fluttering along the toy when it’s turned on.

However, I’m not a fan of internal vibrations and the Oh Oui as a dildo does just fine.  It’s not going to make sparks fly and cause you to call everyone you know to state you just had an out of body experience, but its ability to target the g-spot is up there with other quality silicone toys like those from Tantus.

So there you have it, it’s a nice, simple silicone toy that would be great for people that are either beginners to penetration or those who don’t like texture.  The main downfall is the bullet vibe, which I have never been a fan of, but I know some people genuinely like them.

It’s the last day of lube week and I’ve decided to do Pink Water.  I first heard of Pink Water when asking on Twitter about what the best water-based lube is.  Three different people told me Pink Water within 3 minutes of me posting the question, so I figured I should give it a shot.

Ingredients: Water, HEC, PEG 45, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Polyquaternium 5, Tetrasodium EDTA, Germall II, Sodium benzoate, Aspartame, Polysorbate 20, Aloe Vera extract, Ginseng extract, Guarana extract, Avena sativa extract, Sodium hydroxide, Propylene glycol.

It’s glycerin free, but still has parabens, so if you’re paraben sensitive this one isn’t for you.  It also has aloe and other extracts to soften skin while you use it.

Scent: Pink doesn’t have a detectable scent in the bottle.

Taste: Slightly bitter.  This is another one I would suggest not using if oral sex is on the menu.  Wait until after oral to use it or pick another one that is oral compatible like this one.

Lasting Time: Pink Water seems to last forever, which I’ve determined is probably from the parabens.  It’s not going to last quite as long as silicone, but almost.

Good for Anal? Probably not the best since it’s really thin.

Sticky Factor: No stickiness here!  Which is due to the lack of glycerin, so you don’t have to worry about sticking to your partner and making nasty tape-peeling noises.

Additional Information: While it’s not Sliquid, it’s definitely worth a try and it’s also quite a bit cheaper.  So if you’re on a budget, this one might work out well for you!

It’s the third day of lube week here on Hello Saraid.  Today we have another addition from System JO – System JO Flavored.  I opted for the Raspberry version since I figured raspberry flavoring should be easy to not mess up.  I mean, if they can master it for nasty things like fluoride, they should be able to do it for something way more awesome like lube.

Ingredients: Propyl paraben, Methyl paraben, Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, Glycerine, Purified Water, Natural and Artificial Raspberry Flavor

. . . Okay, so definitely not natural and it contains Glycerin, but I don’t really think this is a lube you would use everyday anyway.  If you want something you can use for sex and oral sex both without getting a nasty taste in your mouth this may be your answer.  However, if you’re sensitive to glycerin you may want to keep this away from your vagina.

Scent: It smells like raspberry, but the fake kind.

Taste: Same as the scent.  If you’re okay with artificial flavor (think raspberry candy or a raspberry snow cone) you should like this just fine.  If you apply a thin layer, the taste is not too overpowering.

Lasting Time: This lasts a decently long time, but not as much as the other two lubes I’ve reviewed in lube week so far.  I wouldn’t use this if you need something that’s going to last a long time.  However, for oral and other “light” activities, it’s perfect.

Good for Anal? Most definitely not.  It’s very thin and wouldn’t work well.

Stick Factor: Unfortunately, this one gets sticky.  Because glycerin is one of the first ingredients, it gets sticky quickly.  So as stating in the Lasting Time section, don’t use this if you need something that is going to last a long time.

Additional Information: System JO Flavored is most definitely a specialized lube, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good product.  If you’re looking for a good deal on a flavored lube, look no further.  Also, Tickle offers it in 12 flavors, and at $8 for 5.25 oz. it’s a great deal so you can try more than one flavor.

I’ve been looking for the perfect water-based lubricant for what seems like forever.  So I figured having a mini-lube week here on the blog would help others out there also looking for the perfect lube.  What’s the first lube in this series sponsored by Tickle?  System JO Agape for Women.

Since this is the first review, I’ll explain the breakdown.  Since I want to cover everything possible about the lube in a concise manner, I’m going to use the following categories: ingredients, scent, taste, lasting time, good for anal, sticky factor and additional information.

Ingredients: Methyl paraben, Propylene glycol, Propyl paraben, Sodium Carboxy methyl cellulose, and purified water.

As you can see, this lube is far from natural, but it also doesn’t contain glycerin, which is great for women who get yeast infections and UTIs easily.  If you have a paraben sensitivity this is not for you as there are two kinds of parabens used.  If you’ve taken too much chemistry class, you’re probably drawing those compounds in your head – I know I am.

Scent: Agape for Women has a very, very light medical scent.  I had to put my nose into the bottle opening to detect it, so it’s not too strong.  If you normally have a problem with the scents in lubes, you won’t have any problem with this one.

Taste: While I personally wouldn’t go eating the stuff because of the high amount of parabens, but even if you would you’ll want to keep this away from your mouth.  Upon tasting a small drop I found it to be extremely bitter and leave an odd taste in my mouth.  I had to go brush my teeth after tasting it for this review.  You’ll want to make sure you save using this lube until after any oral activities are done.

Lasting Time: Agape for Women has one of the best lasting times I have encountered in a water-based lubricant.  When testing it side by side with Sliquid Silver, Silver only outlasted Agape for Women by around 5 minutes.

Good for Anal? No, it is too thin to be used anally.

Sticky Factor: One of the best things about Agape for Women?  It doesn’t ever get sticky.  It dries up before it gets sticky, so you don’t have to worry about your Liberator throe or whatever else you lay/sit on sticking to you when you get up.

Additional Information: System JO makes a wide variety of lubes, almost all of which are carried by Tickle.  So if you don’t have luck with this one, don’t let it turn you off to the entire brand.  As mentioned before, if you have a paraben sensitivity, this one isn’t for you.  I would also suggest that even if you don’t have a reaction to parabens vaginally, don’t use this one anally.  The mucus membranes in the anal canal are far more sensitive than those in the vagina, so don’t risk it.

I got the Ripple in the mail in a very timely manner, for which I truly applaud Naughty and Discreet – my mail usually doesn’t come that fast, ever.  I showed the Ripple to the boyfriend and his first response was, “Oh god, bumps.”  He was really scared that they were going to hurt, but I insisted that it was small enough that it would be just fine.

Overall, my partner really liked the Ripple as an ass toy.  While he said it’s definitely not as stimulating to his prostate as other toys we’ve tried, it does have a more manageable size for him so he can relax knowing that it’s not going to hurt.  We only got it inserted up to the last bump, but hey, where’s the fun if you can instantly shove anything in your ass that you desire?  Okay, yeah, that would be fun.  I lied.  But it’s not like that for everyone and that’s okay.

The beginning of the film starts out kind of slow for my tastes, but I’ve never been one for teasing and looking at the performers in clothing before the scene. I’ve decided not to do a breakdown scene by scene as covering all 10 would be a bit challenging and also probably put you to sleep. I was very excited to open and smell the oil as the ingredients really sounded wonderful. The oil base is pecan, which I found interesting since most nut-based massage oils are based in almond. The essential oils are ylang ylang, cedarwood, geranium, cinnamon and ginger, as well as a healthy dose of vitamin E to make your skin soft (and to minimize scars if you happen to have any!). Well, wanting to smell it was the right thing, because it smells heavenly! It’s very earthy and even a bit herbal, but with a hint of spice from the cinnamon and ginger. If you like natural smelling products rather than products with artificial scents (think green apple and strawberry) this is totally the product for you. Imagine walking into a marketplace somewhere in Asia and smelling all of the spices, wooden handcrafted bowls and fresh flowers for sale. Now imagine that scent all compacted into a 4 ounce bottle – yeah, it’s pretty fabulous.

The packaging of the bottle itself is minimalist, but I like it. It’s a basic apothecary deep blue glass bottle with a black screw on cap and the golden label common to all Hathor Body products. It lists the ingredients as well as touts the skin smoothing benefits of the oil. At the bottom of the bottle is also the tagline “All we need is love.” I personally think they should change it to “All we need is love and 100,000 bottles of Exotic Love Oil.”

And now the good stuff! We decided to put the oil to use and my boyfriend gave me a massage after my long day in classes. He used about a teaspoon of the oil for my entire body. He did mention to me afterwards that he thinks he could use less and it would work just as well, so that is something to keep in mind. It smoothed on like silk and made his hands glide gracefully all over my body. The smell instantly filled the room and made me relax even more. The oil stayed slick and never greasy through the entire 45 minute massage. I felt pampered instead of like a squeaky door hinge smothered in WD-40, which some oils in the past have done to me. The oil absorbed into my skin by the end and left it soft and smooth. I didn’t have to shower at all and my boyfriend didn’t have to wash his hands off. I’m currently sitting here and touching my back constantly to feel how smooth and moisturized it feels! I also still smell like a heavenly, spice filled paradise. I had been looking for kegel exercisers for quite some time because my pelvic floor muscles are exceptionally weak.  I can’t flex and hold them for any time at all, not to mention the 3 grueling seconds mentioned in many kegel exercise regimens.  I chose the Fun Factory Smartballs teneo^uno for a variety of reasons.  Firstly, they’re silicone, so they’re superior to the old Smartballs and other vaginal ball exercisers.  I like that they can be sanitized, although since it’s just me using them, I doubt this will be something I’ll do.  Secondly, in the teneo^uno there is just one vaginal ball.  I’d heard that the original balls were too long for some people’s anatomy; I wasn’t sure if my anatomy was shorter, but I wasn’t going to take a chance on buying something I potentially couldn’t use.

Upon insertion they’re pretty damn comfortable.  My vagina didn’t start bitching about something not being right in there, so I’m taking that as a good sign.  It actually is just like when I put in my Diva Cup, comfortable as hell and I can barely feel it.  However, the not feeling it really is also the part I’m disappointed in.

Smartballs are meant to be stimulating, at least mildly, while being worn and walking around.  The teneo^uno, although very nice, is not very stimulating at all.  I wasn’t expecting it to be like having a Hitachi in my vagina, but I wanted them to be felt.  I’m assuming the teneo^duo or the original Smartballs would have more of this effect.

Removal is something with which beginning users may have trouble.  Although there is a silicone retrieval string, it is very thin and I am afraid putting too much pressure on it may cause it to snap.  Therefore, it’s best to bear down and push the ball out of your vagina until you can get a grip on the base of the strings to help it out.  This should sound very familiar is you use a Diva Cup or any menstrual cup – they all have to be pushed out slightly with the vaginal muscles.  For those who haven’t had to do this, it’s like pooping only with your vagina instead of your ass.

I haven’t used them enough to notice any strengthening of my PC muscles, but they do give you something to clench while doing your daily kegels.  Overall, I would recommend the teneo^uno if you are looking for some beginning vaginal balls to help you out with your kegel exercises.  They’re definitely going to get some use.
